Advanced Valve Designs stack caps are used to protect the exhaust system from the elements and reduce the stack effect when the system is off. AVD used a standard design in the manufacture of this damper, or the dampers may be custom manufactured to your specific needs.

Stack dampers are available with electric, pneumatic actuation or counterbalance weight.

Advanced Valve Designs refractory lined dampers are designed for temperatures up to 2800 F. The dampers are manufactured in any alloy to suit your needs, inconel, hastalloy, micro alloys, 310 s/s, 330 s/s and other commercially available alloys.

Various seat styles are available to meet your shut-off requirements.

Refractory lined dampers are available with AVD's exclusive floating metallic liner to eliminate the erosive conditions found in many other refractory lined dampers.
